Why should you care about marine collagen and bio-actives?

 

Unlike land animal-based collagens or bovine gelatin, marine based collagens are free from the risk of contracting land animal-related diseases so it's clearly better to be under the sea! It behaves as an anti-microbial, antioxidant and anti-carcinogenic. Notably, fucoidans have resounding 'pleiotropic' effects on their external environment, which means it has the potential to serve as a brilliant anti-inflamattory on organs (and what is the biggest organ in our bodies? Our skin of course!)

 

 Sapo-what?

Saponins like the triterpene glycosides in Sea Cucumbers are active secondary metabolites used in pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals ,and Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine.
